Making an OC Private
Updated over a week ago

At UnVale we understand that sometimes you want to have a place to organize your OCs without sharing them with the world. While there isn't currently a way to private characters on the user side of things, we can do it for you!

If your character is Private (or "Unlisted") you can still:

  • See them on your own profile,

  • Edit them,

  • Share them with others using a direct link,

  • Make them public again later

When others view your profile without a direct link to the private OC, it won't show up in your profile or character pages, nor will it appear on the Explore page, or in search results.

To request that a character be made private, create the character page first (you don't have to add any images to do this), and reach out using the UnVale button on the bottom right-hand side of your screen, making sure you include the name of the OC. Characters can be made public again by following the same process.
