What does it mean?
Making your work private means that it's hidden from discovery areas on Unvale (Explore and Community Tab). This gives you more control on who has access to see your work.
How to Private OCs
To make your OCs private, there are are two ways to go about it.
The first way is to click the toggle that says "Public" when clicking the Manage button/Pencil icon at the top right of the OC page. Clicking the toggle easily allows you to make the page private.
The second way is to go into the settings of the OC page, click the Options tab, and then click the "Make Private" toggle.

Please note that when uploading new creations to the page (Art or Writing) or adding the OC to public Worlds, the OC will still be visible in our discovery areas. To figure out how to make these other creations private, check out the other categories of this article!
How to Private Worlds
Like OC privacy settings, you can make your World private in two different ways.
The first way is to click the toggle that says "Public" when clicking the Manage button/Pencil icon at the top right of the World. Clicking the toggle easily allows you to make the World private.
The second way is to go into the settings of the World and then click the "Make Private" toggle under the Privacy category.

How to Private Writing
Privating Writing works the same for both OC pages and for Worlds.
There are two ways to private your Writing.
The first way is clicking the "Make Private" checkbox when in the Writing's new upload or edited state.
The second way is clicking the toggle that says "Public" when clicking the three dots at the top right of the Writing you'd like to make private.

Please keep in mind that privating individual pieces of Writing does NOT make the entire creation it is under private! The entire page itself will still be visible on our discovery areas.

How do I share my OCs, Worlds, Writing, or Art with friends if it is private?
By copy and pasting the URL of the private creation, you'll be able to share the direct link with friends who will have access to the work.
